Green growth is an opportunity to modernise our economy, based on the long-term, not the quick fix. To make the best progress on green growth, Malta needs the right instruments and the right leaders. A growing number of businesses realise that protecting the environment is vital in waste management and recycle, as well as maintaining Malta’s competitiveness in waste management resources. The Malta Waste Management, Recycling & Green Sustainability Awards recognise these pioneers, celebrating those companies at the forefront of eco-innovation, or which have a respect for the environment at the very core of their business principles.

The Conference on Sustainable Green Future for Collective Organisations, Hospitality & Businesses is the largest national forum of competence as regards operational know-how concerning waste packaging, refuse collection, recycling and the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (or ‘WEEE’, for short). It is a not-for-profit association of 44 WEEE producer responsibility organisations across Malta. Through exchange of best practice and access to its reputable knowledge base toolbox, this conference enables its participants to improve their operations and be known as promoters of the circular economy.
